Nandaihe Water Playground lies on the golden beach, at the southern end of Huanhai Road in Nandaihe Tourist Area, covering 120 square meters. It is a characteristic amusement place consisting of both natural bathing beach and various kinds of water skiing and drifting facilities. The water playground was open on June 19, 2001. The quiet and tastefully laid -out environment and fresh air with novel and peculiar facilities are suitable for both the young and the old. Three high parallel glides stand on the beach, and on the top tourists can not only enjoy the charming scenery of Nandaihe, but also glide in different ways. Eight gliding forms are supplied, which are Pipe adventure, double Swaying, UFO, Lovers’ Gliding, Speed Gliding and Landing, Spiral Surf, Board Skiing and Carpet Skiing. Each one is enchanting and full of humor. In the west is “Shooting Rapids”, where the dragon boat with tourists climbs to a height of 10 meters and then glides down. The Children’s Area with a swimming pool, waterfall, and glides is a playground for children and good for them to learn about nature. On the bathing beach, popular as “ Top Bathing Beach ” , where the water is clear and calm, and the beach is broad and soft, tourists can enjoy sea-bathing, sand bath, sun bath, and air bath and at the same time can obtain services for free like sunshade umbrellas, chairs, life buoys and freshwater bath.
