The
tourist sight lies 10 km north
of Funing county seat, 295.5 meters above
sea level. It is 30 km northest of Ainhuangdao
City, 18 km north of Nandaihe Tourist Area
and Beidaihe. On the north are Daqin railway
and Sanfu Highway. Tianma Lake lies on the
west of the mountain, and both of them add
radiance and beauty to each other. On top
of Mount Tianma, mist-covered Bohai Sea on
the south and the magnificent Great Wall on
the north come into view. Here the weather
is neither too hot in summer nor too cold
in winter, normally around 10oC all year round.
In the neighborhood, fruits are produced like
peaches, plums, apricots, apples and chestnuts.
Scores of birds , hares, sand badgers and
squirrels settle here. Also the mineral water
is proved to contain many trace elements,
good for health.
